Comments: I have been resident of the area for over 25 years. I sit on the Board of the Newcastle Local Strategic Partnership ( L.S.P.), the Newcastle Communities Forum Steering Group and the "One Stop Shop" Network Group. I am actively involved in the introduction of the transport system for the isolated and vulnerable of the community.

Comments: I have been involved in the conception and creation of the Parish Plan and this gave me the stimulus to apply when a vacancy arose on the Parish Council. I moved to the area in 1988 with my son who attended Baldwins Gate Primary School. I have taken on the responsibility of monitoring and arranging maintenance of the local public footpaths.

Comments: I am the mother of four and have lived in the village for 21 years. I have been a Parish Councillor for 5 years and have concerned myself with young people. I have helped with the Playgroup and, together with John Pedley, re-started the Youth Club. My ambition is to calm the traffic on the A53 and clean up the village.
