In addition, on the 9th December 2004, in support of the Parish Plan Questionnaire, a meeting was held in the Village Hall to try to get a more informed view of what youngsters in the Community need. This session was very productive and it identified many aspirations of which the top 6 are:
- Skateboard / Bike facility
- Toilets
- Hot food / drink provision
- Youth Bus / Youth Club
- Shelter
- Football Pitch / club
Returning to the questionnaire, other suggested activities were:
- Proficiency Tests for Cyclists
- Horse riding i.e. Road Safety Tests, etc.
From the questionnaire responses, there emerges a view that
- people are willing to help
- some guidance is needed on rules and regulations for some of the activities
