The responses clearly show an interest in the environment through specifically

A number of respondents also suggested
- Bat protection Group
- Badger Conservation
- Hedgehog Protection
- Litter collection scheme
- Bottle bank, paper & can collections
(At the time of writing the report, the recycle collections have started within the villages)
In addition, a whole range of comments were recorded and which can be summarised by many respondents:
- welcoming the above initiatives
- wanting overgrown verges and hedgerows (e.g. Heath Road to Whitmore on the A53) dealt with
- the adoption of roads on Water's Edge by Local Authority
- seeking better maintenance of local footpaths
- seeking commitments by the Highways Authority – "we pay our rates"
